Founded on January 13, 1913, by 22 visionary collegiate women at Howard University in Washington, D.C., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has grown into a global sisterhood of over 350,000 predominantly Black, college-educated women. With more than 1,000 chapters spanning the United States, the United Kingdom, Southern and West Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and South Korea, we are united by a shared commitment to public service.
